Sectoral requirements for services
Sectoral requirements for services depend on the specific activity and regulated profession. Based on sector-specific rules, the requirements include conditions, documents and fees
Specific sectoral requirements do not exist for many business services, such as business consulting, marketing, public relations, design, IT, accounting, employment mediation, etc. Therefore, it is not necessary to obtain approval for the provision of such services.
On the other hand, in many cases of service activities and professions, the scope of conditions differs, which depends on the important distinction between the provision of services on a temporary and occasional basis in relation to a permanent basis. Namely, when it comes to the cross-border freedom to provide services (the so-called First option), only a statement is submitted to the competent authority, while with the business establishment (the so-called Second option), an authorization (licence) must be obtained. In both cases, the submission of documentation and the obtaining of approval for most service activities are enabled via e-service or e-mail.
Also, recognition of professional qualifications has been enabled.
In addition to checking the appropriate requirements prescribed at the central state level, it is suggested to contact the relevant regional and local units (more of them are involved in the Single Digital Gateway project).
