Consumer information
How do I get information about my consumer rights?
Consumer information is intended for consumers - natural persons entering into a legal transaction or operating on the market outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Consumer information does not imply legal advice or representation of consumers in proceedings before ordinary courts.Based on the public tender “Empowering consumers”, the Ministry of the Economy concluded funding agreements with consumer protection associations from the State budget of the Republic of Croatia. These agreements are for the purpose of providing free professional information to consumers and protecting their economic interests when dealing with traders.
Consumers enquiries are received by consumer protection associations:
- via freephone 0800/414-414 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- by post
- by e-mail
- in person at the premises of associations
