How to start a business in Croatia online?

Starting a business in Croatia online is enabled for Croatian citizens through the START information system.

 

The service can be accessed through the e-Citizens portal, by selecting the service under the Business topic in the Service Catalog, or directly at the link start.gov.hr.
 
START combines several steps and procedures required for starting a business for companies (LLC and simple LLC) and crafts, and the competent institutions and banks into one electronic entity, while the user chooses the procedures according to their needs.
 
Electronic establishment of a company remotely is available to EU citizens, by registering with the credentials of the country of residence in E-Court Register.
 
Citizens of non-EU countries can initiate the establishment of a company by going to a notary public office.
